John Henry is one of Maui's most award winning photographers. His elegant style of portraiture and attention to detail has earned John Henry a reputation that is unsurpassed, making him one of the most sought after photographers in Hawaii. He has received many national, state and corporate awards for his photography, including the prestigious Fuji Masterpiece and PPA Loan Collection awards. He is a recipient of the Fellowship Award from the Professional Photographers of Hawaii; and in 1999, John Henry became the very first recipient of the Photographer of the Year award presented annually by the Maui Professional Photographers Association. In 2000, John Henry Photography, Inc. was listed in “Hawaii’s Fastest 50,” an award presented by the Pacific Business News which highlights small businesses experiencing tremendous growth in a relatively short period of time.
